When Nastassia wanted to explore the new lifestyle and job opportunities outside her native Belarus, her employer @Carlsberg found a new role for her based in #Tallinn.
The idea of living abroad in #Estonia was exciting Nastassia and remaining with her employer brought a sense of normality, though she was still daunted by the process of adjusting to a new life.
“It took half a year to adjust, but at some point, it felt like my home was here in Estonia,” Nastassia said. “I love the life balance Estonians have, and their connection with nature. I am so glad I can enjoy this life now too.”
Adding to her stress of major change was having little idea how to handle the intimidating task of filling out mountains of paperwork, negotiating complicated immigration policy and finding a place to live. She even questioned whether an international relocation was for her until @MoveMyTalent came to her rescue.
“I would have struggled with everything without MMT. Their workers took me to get a personal ID number, helped to fill out paperwork, search for apartments – they even took me to the shopping mall to get some furniture! I had such a great experience because of MMT. They did everything so I could just settle into my life.”
