It seems there’s a common misconception that we’re a recruitment agency. We’re not!
We don’t blame you, it’s easy to get confused. After all, we work with so many amazing clients and HR partners.
But in reality, we’re the wizards behind the scenes, the ones who make your move to Estonia smooth and stress-free once you’ve landed that job. Think of us as your relocation Yoda, guiding you through the often-complex process of immigration and settling in.

We decided to write this post after an influx of “Can you help me find a job in Estonia?” inquiries. Although we can’t, there are a few things you can do to find your perfect job.
LinkedIn is a very popular tool to get hired in Estonia. With personal brands on the rise, the platform has become even more important to create a presence and an attractive profile.
A few ways we recommend utilizing LinkedIn to work in your favour:
- Keep your profile updated with a professionally shot picture, title, and keywords relevant to your profession and skills.
- Showcase your expertise and demonstrate your positive attitude in your experience descriptions.
Remember, Estonia favours skill-will-attitude over education-experience-seniority. - If you have a target company, follow their LinkedIn page and recruiters for the latest job openings.
- If you chance upon an opportunity, make sure to act fast and submit your updated CV. You can also reach out to the recruiter of the company with a polite message and create a touch point.
- Additionally, you can also join relevant groups and actively participate in discussions to bring out your personality through your thought leadership.

Many popular job portals in Estonia can help you find the right fit. Head to the following websites:
- CV Keskus and CV.ee: These are the two biggest players in the Estonian job market. Think of them as the Estonian equivalents of LinkedIn or Indeed. Make sure your CV is in English and tailored to the specific roles you’re applying for.
- Work In Estonia: This government-run website is a fantastic resource specifically aimed at attracting international talent. It features job listings, information about the Estonian work culture, and practical tips for living and working here.
- MeetFrank: A fast-growing platform that focuses on connecting talent with companies, often in the tech and startup sectors. It’s worth exploring for potential opportunities, particularly if you’re in these fields.
- Meetup: While not strictly a job portal, Meetup is a great way for those who are already in Estonia to network and connect with people in your industry. Attend events, meet potential employers, and learn about unadvertised opportunities.
- Career Pages: Head to the careers section of your target companies and check open roles to apply directly. Some companies prefer to have their own AI-powered hiring systems and promote the openings through their employer ambassadors on socials. In case you don’t make it the first time, their applicant tracking system will store your resume in their talent pool and you may hear from them when a suitable position comes up!
- Töötukassa: The Estonian Unemployment Fund also has a list of open positions you can apply to, given it fits your skills and circumstances.
- EURES: Find a suitable role anywhere in Europe through this website. Last we checked, there are over 1700 open positions in Estonia. Make sure the job description mentions relocation assistance if you’re looking to relocate from a non-EU zone.
Tips and Tricks
- Network, Network, Network: Estonia is a small country, and you never know where a conversation might lead. Connect mindfully with people on LinkedIn, connect with your target company’s employer ambassadors and engage with your target company’s content to create touchpoints.
- Tailor Your CV and Cover Letter: Don’t just send out a generic CV. Customize it for each job you apply for, highlighting the skills and experience that are most relevant. Research the company and show that you understand its business and culture.
- Be Patient: Finding the right job takes time and effort. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t hear back from every application. Keep networking, keep applying, and keep learning.
- Ask for Feedback: If you’ve applied at a company and things don’t go well, do ask for feedback so you can identify your weaknesses and work on them for better chances of success.
- Dive into the Startup Scene: Tallinn is a hub for startups, and many of them are constantly looking for talented individuals. If you’re interested in working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, explore the startup scene.
